Welcome, and thank you for visiting the website of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Capter 328, Barrie Ontario Canada. We hope that the information contained within our site is both informative and helpful to you.

Along with this website, we have an internet discussion forum, which we invite you to join to keep up to date on rides and events and to learn more about us. You can find the link for the discussion forum under the links tab.

We are a family orientated club, which promotes both safe and courteous riding practices and while focusing on the enjoyment and fellowship of riding motorcycles.  Although we use the Web to communicate, the Southern Cruisers is not an Internet club for Motorcycle Enthusiasts.

For more information on our club please contact one of our officers.

When we meet: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm departure & Sundays at 9:30 am for a 10:00am departure. In the off season, we still like to get together for a coffee.

Where we meet: Tim Hortons on Mapleview Dr, beside the Canadian Tire & Royal Bank. During the riding season we park behind the Royal Bank.

If you have an event or ride which you would like to appear on our events calendar, please submit it to our Webmaster.

The Southern Cruisers policies are very simple:

  • No yearly dues;
  • No tasks that you have to perform;
  • No major commitments; and
  • You do not have to attend all club meetings

However, we do ask a few things from our members:

  • Always ride safe;
  • Support your Club & Chapter; and
  • Don’t give the Southern Cruisers a bad name.

We just want to ride for the thrill of riding. Most of our trips will be local, so whether you ride a Honda, Harley, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki etc, you will always be welcomed in the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.

The cost of membership is FREE and the club patch (which is optional) is only $50 (Cdn). The Southern Cruisers are involved with charity fundraising rides, local and long distance rides and of course the "unknown" rides which may lead us anywhere. We also promote Motorcycle and Public Safety Rules and under NO circumstances will we be involved in any illegal activities.
